What is the daily time requirement for the toddler language foundations course?As a parent myself, I understand that free time is limited. That is why I designed this course to be primarily completed during daily routines you are already doing with your child (such as bath time). There are also 5 structured language activities a week that you will complete with your child, but these can be as short or as long as you need them to be.

Does this replace my child's need for speech therapy?No. This program is intended to educate and empower parents with tools to help their child's speech and language development. Although parent coaching and home implementation is a VITAL part of speech therapy, which this program does, it is not the sole component. If you or your child's pediatricians have concerns about their speech/language development please also contact a local SLP for a full evaluation.

The course makes implementing a language rich environment for your child easy. By following the weekly plan, you are providing your child with the opportunity for their language to grow!

Why do you differentiate between speech and language in your writing, aren't they the same thing?Although these two terms are often used synonymously day to day, in the field of speech-language pathology they are very different things. In a very summed up answer, speech is "how the words sound" or the actual production of the words. Language is the meaning behind the words, grammar, and the choice of words depending on the context.
