Sage Owner of Language Blossoms

Hi, I'm Sage!

Founder of Language Blossoms.

I created the Language Blossoms courses to help provide parents with the tools they need without replacing professional therapy. These courses are designed to supplement therapy and empower parents with actionable steps to help their children thrive.

My Story & Bio

As a certified speech-language pathologist, my passion is helping parents feel empowered with their children’s speech and language development. I have worked with countless parents who are overwhelmed when a child is behind on their milestones– with many of these parents expressing feelings of frustration and helplessness. I am often asked to assist them with strategies to expand their child’s speech and language at home either while waiting on the ever growing speech therapy wait lists or in addition to their weekly services. As a professional, I have sought out to find options for parents to help bridge their child’s needs and found that there are not enough resources readily available online.  This is when the idea of “Language Blossoms” was born. My vision is to provide parent friendly resources to help your child’s language blossom through programs and tools available through this platform.

My Career

I am an ASHA certified and licensed speech-language pathologist who has practiced in UT, AZ, and currently SC. I attained a Bachelors of Science in Communicative Disorders at Utah State University and went on to complete a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at University of Utah. My early career has taken me to both public and private sectors with experience working on pediatric medical teams, school-based therapy, and home therapy settings.

Personal

I am also a mother to a toddler and know first hand about the stress and demands placed on parents, especially concerning their children meeting developmental milestones. I am grateful to provide a platform to help fellow struggling parents support their children’s speech and language needs.

Sincerely,

Sage Bell, M.S. CCC-SLP
